I'll be in St. Paul, Minnesota for a special event marking the publication of Kristi Curry Rogers' new Science paper describing a baby Rapetosaurus.   My new life-sized sculpture of the little sauropod will be on display, and I'll be there at the Science Museum of Minnesota to talk to the public about my process.

Kenosha Public Museum - Dino Talk! by Tyler Keillor

On Friday November 27, I'll be speaking in Wisconsin at the Kenosha Public Museum for the grand opening of a new temporary exhibit, "Dinosaurs Take Flight: The Art of Archaeopteryx".

While I'm not a part of this traveling exhibition, which features the work of other paleoartists from around the world,  as a (relatively) local paleoartist I was nevertheless asked to come for the opening and present on the topic of designing and building dinosaur models for museums.  The day will include lots of free family friendly dino activities planned by the museum, which is also free!

Hope to see you there!

I am honored to be collaborating with UArtsy as I lead a webinar called "Digital Art in Paleontology",  streaming live on March 28 and 29, 2015.  This will be a weekend immersive course, where I'll discuss the connection between art and science historically, the modern tools available today, traditional and digital paleoart, and so on.  The course will also be available on-demand after the live broadcast.

Interview on WBEZ 91.5 FM Chicago Public Radio by Tyler Keillor

Later today I am scheduled to appear on Chicago's 91.5 FM - "The Afternoon Shift", during host Niala Boodhoo's "Tech Shift" segment, just after 3:45pm.  Niala received an advanced screening of the upcoming documentary*, "Bigger than T-rex", a new Nova/National Geographic special documenting the Spinosaurus project I've been a part of for the past 2 years.  Niala thought that my digital work on this specimen would make an interesting conversation for the part of the broadcast covering new technology. After the radio show airs, I'll post a link to the podcast where you can find our conversation….

New Website! by Tyler Keillor

My old webmaster, Brian Patterson, had to pass me the reins after finding himself even busier, more successful, and married! Thanks Brian for all of your great work on the first site!

With that said, this is my first self-run website with built-in blog, so I should have plenty of opportunity to keep everything current and updated...

Thanks for reading, and please keep checking in for future updates!
